Sorghum

Grain sorghum is processed on cereals, flour and starch, and made of straw woven products, paper, brooms. Feasibility of cultivation of sorghum in arid and semiarid regions of the planet is due to its versatility and high productivity. Many kinds of farm animals eat green mass and grain readily.

Sorghum is not only high yielding culture, it is rich of carbohydrates, protein, carotene, tannins, vitamins, which play an important role in enhancing the productivity of animals. On nutritional value of green mass and grain sorghum almost no corn yield, and in some areas surpass it.

In addition to forage, grain sorghum is used for alcohol and starch industry.
